中亞聯大 世界排名雙入榜
中國時報【林欣儀╱台中報導】
英國泰晤士報高等教育特刊（Times Higher Education）公布2019全球最佳大學排行榜，台灣共有32所大學上榜，其中結盟為「中亞聯大」的中國醫藥大學、亞洲大學雙雙入榜，分別位列第505、934名，顯示兩校辦學績效再度受到國際肯定。
泰晤士報高教特刊是從世界86國、1萬7000多所大學中，評選出全球最佳大學共1258所，台灣上榜的大學前3名都是國立大學，而中國醫大排名全台第4、私立大學第1；亞大則連續3年榮登全球最佳大學，位列全台第19名、非醫學院類私校第1名，也是全台榮獲國際排行最年輕大學。
亞洲大學研發長黃志揚指出，學校重視教學研究，成立AI人工智慧研究、智慧輔具暨復健醫學、大數據、金融科技與區塊鏈等12個研究中心，進行跨國跨校尖端科技研發，藉以強化國際學術研究，像是人工智慧研究中心與美國史丹佛大學合作、3D列印醫療研究中心與美國喬治亞理工學院合作，攜手國際名校盼展現亞大辦學特色，期許在國際學術排名更上層樓。
亞大校長蔡進發表示，中醫大、亞大獲教育部核准為「中亞聯合大學系統」，兩校學生享有跨校學程、輔系、雙主修的交換生待遇，也分享研究、教學、國際化特色資源，兄弟校能互相砥礪、各自努力，分別衝高在國內外學術排名。
「加強接軌國際！」亞大國際學院院長陳英輝強調，日前亞大團隊也到新加坡國立大學參訪，並簽訂學術合作、學生交換事宜，全力推動師生國際化是亞大重要任務，學校更將招收東南亞國家全英語授課的外籍生列為重點，這學期共有606名外籍生。
